The former Springbrook Inn opened its doors in 1807 when Donald Mckenzie built his Woolen and Carding Mill in Caledonia NY. The site was originally the main homestead of Mckenzie. During the 1880's, the Springbrook was converted to an Inn to accommodate the visitors to Seth Green's Fish Hatchery. The location is one of Western New York's most historic restaurant sites, serving more than one million people in its rich history. The property is loaded with local folklore dating as far back as 1797, when Caledonia was known as North Hampton NY. Donald Mckenzie was to Western New York like Davy Crocket was to Tennessee. When Mckenzie spoke, people would listen. The Inn had seen many famous visitors through the years. The D'Agostino Family is proud to be associated with the History of this famous Western New York Landmark.
